PavlovaOriginating in Australia and New Zealand, this dessert was created in 1935 by Chef Herberst Sachse in honor of the Russian ballerina, Anna Pavlova. It is a large round meringue shell, crisp on the outside and soft in the center, filled with crème Chantilly and topped with seasonal fruit.
